Thermal Fever Screening
Prepare, Prevent & Protect
ThermaTech offer a range of preventative solutions using thermal imaging technology to protect your workplace by detecting the most common flu symptom: a fever (38-40°C).
Thermal Imaging Technology
Any object with temperatures above absolute zero emits a detectable amount of infrared radiation. A thermal camera senses such radiation and produces thermal images.
The accompanying software converts IR radiation into grayscale values and matches grayscale values to temperature values through an algorithm model.
Our thermal cameras operate with a high temperature accuracy (0.5°C) and can help detect elevated body temperatures, which may indicate the presence of a fever.
ThermaTech systems can be sited for temporary or permanent monitoring at any workplace.
The thermal imaging camera can be used on top of a tripod or fixed to a ceiling using a stand-off bracket. We provide all the necessary hardware with the thermal software pre-installed, connect to the camera and fully install and test to complete the installation.
24/7 365 Monitoring
The software is active 24/7 and records any results of a person with an abnormal temperature.
Getting an alert from the software is hugely beneficial as it means that anyone with a fever is identified upon entry to the building.
Identification is completed in milliseconds and an alert is sent to reception or security staff monitoring the system so that the matter can be dealt with quickly and appropriately.
Advantages of Fever Screening
Thermal cameras feature non-contact temperature measurement from about more than one meter away, avoiding unnecessary physical contact.
Instant alerts can be sent via the smartphone app or email 24/7.
It takes just one second for a thermal camera to detect temperature of a person, thus allows screening of large numbers of people at a time.
